Comparison of different detection technologies

Special test case in Meppen (Germany)

The OPAX detection software was put under heavy testing together with other conventional security sensors and then compared to these sensors. A special armed force was asked to do everything possible to trick the system. They were also told how the system worked. The tests included:

• Jumping from a ladder over the parameter zone
• Normal walking and walking extremely slow over the parameter zone
• Running as fast as possible over the parameter zone
• Wearing camouflage through the parameter zone
• Pointing a bright flash-light on the camera while another soldier tried to cross the parameter zone
