OPAX Mobile Construction Site Protection is a complete surveillance solution consisting of video surveillance cameras, video content analysis (VCA) software, mobile network access and loudspeakers. Based on OPAX’s award-winning VCA engine, the software monitors video feeds from the surveillance cameras and automatically and reliably identifies possible threats. In a scenario where people enter an area during times when they should not, an alarm is generated. The alarm can be sent to a cellular phone and to a central monitoring station, from where security personnel can confirm the threat visually and use the loudspeakers to instruct potential perpetrators to leave the site.
The solution is designed for mobility with quick assembly and disassembly, enabling construction companies to bring the surveillance solution from site to site.

OPAX Video Content Analysis (VCA)
OPAX VCA automatically monitor surveillance camera feeds, generating alarms based on rules set by an administrator. The rules can use any combination of the following criteria to define what should trigger an alarm in a secure zone:
• Type of object – human, animal, vehicle.
• Direction – the direction in which the object moves.
• Speed – the speed range within which the object is allowed to move.
• Time – the time windows within which the alarm is active.
The software knows the exact GPS position of each object in the surveillance video, which enables map plotting and can be used to direct security personnel. Being based on OPAX’s award-winning VCA platform, it is a proven and reliable technology that is used to protect critical assets in in a vast number of demanding outdoor applications around the globe.

Milestone XProtect® Video Management System
Milestone XProtect® video management system is used to manage video and alarms from OPAX’s analytics software. OPAX uses the Milestone XPA framework for integration, maximizing the benefits of combining the products. The terrain model used by OPAX is easily transferred into an area map in the intuitive and easy-to-use Milestone XProtect Smart Client user interface. This enables operators to efficiently monitor the security situation, including real-time updates of analytics data. Each classified object is also searchable in Milestone, providing a strong forensic tool with the potential of saving thousands of man-hours.
