OPAX provide a flexible analytics platform with industry-leading performance. Flexible set of rules allowing a multitude of applications including reliable perimeter protection with PTZ camera control, speed supervision, object counting and more. The future of video surveillance is here.

Flexible Zoning
Alarm zones – where alarm rules apply – are created for each camera analyzed by OPAX. An alarm zone consists of 3 or more coordinates in the field of view of a camera. OPAX apply no limitations as to the number of zones created, or regarding the size or shape of a zone, ensuring flexibility for a multitude of applications.
Advanced Rules Engine
OPAX’ rules engine can use any combination of the following criteria to define what should trigger an alarm in a certain zone:

Real-Time Map Plotting
With the accurate terrain model, the position of each object is known, and therefore easily plotted in a map. One can either choose to plot only the alarms, or all observed objects. This makes it easier for an operator to direct the security personnel to the exact location on the site. The larger the protected area, the more important this functionality becomes. Given a geo-referenced map, no calibration will have to be done between the camera and the map.
PTZ Camera Control
Automated Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ)-cameras are normally used with one or several preset positions, directed to the given preset position upon an alarm. With OPAX’ accurate positioning, presets are no longer necessary. Upon an alarm, the PTZ-camera is directed to that exact spot, no matter if that position was pre-programmed or not. Alarms can be reconfigured on the fly, without the need to change anything for the PTZ-camera.
Object Counting
OPAX’ ability to reliably distinguish between object types, combined with the ability to track hundreds of objects simultaneously, enables OPAX to monitor the flow of people and traffic. OPAX helps identify patterns and turn surveillance video into actionable information, whether the application regard traffic flow patterns or occupancy and congestion level analysis.
Forensic Search
Whenever movements occur, OPAX detects it. Also in situations where no alarms are triggered, metadata on each movement is recorded. OPAX store stores more than 40 attributes of each identified object including size, speed, direction, date and time. All attributes are searchable, making it possible to quickly find all captured video matching certain criteria, eliminating the labor-intensive task of manually analyzing recorded video.
